Building permit for Wiedemar Fashion Outlet
Finally! On Wednesday 22nd April 2009, Stable International received a building permit to construct the Fashion Outlet Centre in Wiedemar, Germany. Wiedemar is located only a few kilometres from Leipzig. It is a region where numerous new economic developments are taking place, which are initiated by international companies. Over the past years, many companies established branches here, including BMW, DHL, Porsche and Amazon.
Green light After a very intensive procedure, Stable finally succeeded in obtaining a building permit. All echelons of government authorities within the state of Sachsen were involved in this process. The construction of the new Fashion Outlet Centre will take place in the spring of 2010.
Optimum accessibility The Wiedemar Fashion Outlet Centre is easily accessible, thanks to its location immediately following the Wiedemar exit on the A9. In addition, it is a perfect, high-profile location: next to one of the busiest motorways of Germany, the Autobahn A9 from Munich to Berlin. And the airport is located only a few kilometres from Wiedemar. In addition, major cities like Leipzig, Dresden, Halle, Magdeburg and Potsdam are all within a 60-minute radius by car.
Look & Feel The project features sleek, modern architecture and a distinct colour scheme that is in perfect keeping with this unique high-profile location on the A9. The centre will be partly indoors. Thanks to the tall glass shop fronts, all brands will have the opportunity to present themselves to the public. The passages are nice and wide and the centre will have plenty of daylight. Considerable attention is also being paid to the temperature control system both in the shops and passages to ensure extremely comfortable shopping all year round.
The Fashion Outlet Centre will have a gross floor area of approximately 16,000 thousand square metres in total and more than two thousand free parking spaces within a radius of 200 metres from the centre. This new outlet location will be able to house around 70 different brands. The opening is scheduled by the end of 2010.
